OK, i havent been on dA for a while. but loads of stuffs happened since i last posted!!!!

so heres news:

ok, so first of all, my band has a name. we're called A.O.D. and we have a drummer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and bassist. we've got a gig coming up soon!!!

also, my newest obsession is Twilight i am in love with edward cullen, and i got loads of twilight stuff off eBay

today my new flute arrived. it is a Sankyo, with a silver headjoint, closed holes, and E mechanism. its really comfortable to blow into, the keys are light so i can play fast passages easier, and the body is lighter so i find it easier to hold my arm straight when im playing. its a really awesome flute!!! i named it Edward Sasuke Jasper Ryuzaki - 'Jazzy' for short.

i also have a huge achievement to announce - I completed Dragonforce 100% on guitar hero!!!!

i had my science module 1 GCSE yesterday, and i probably failed, but meh.

i have to record the drum duet with luke next week, and its all going good. i have to work on my solo, though. i basically have it - i took the beat from Supermassive Black Hole by Muse and elaborated on it. For the main beat of my solo, i use that beat, tapping the high hat and using crash and ride for the main rhythm, while adding in the bass and rim shots on the snare. then i just add in rolls and fills. most of the time i roll on the snare into a fill on the left and right toms, and theres one part i pause for dramatic effect *dun dun dun* but i really should sort out my double strokes, my technique is depressing me

college is going well. one of my teachers was away last week, so we spent the hour chatting about twilight while the boys remained silent lol but we were meant to be improvising and i dunno what our teachers gonna think when he comes back!!!

my new fav bands are muse, paramore, and sum 41.

i lost a stone over the christmas holidays!!! it still doesnt take care of my annoyance for my mate scott, who seems to lose weight when he eats. people like that make me wanna scream!!!

I'm so excited - my band are recording 2 songs on Tuesday!!! Every band at my schhol are allowed to record 2 song in the 3 weeks before christmas holiday!!! We're recording Holiday by Green Day and Dirty Little Secret by The All-American Rejects.

yesterday, for children in need me n my cosplay group dressed up as team 7 for children in need!!! We got some funny stares and people laughin at us an 1 person told me i was a skank. and 1 person who i thought was my friend agreed with her even tho he was dressed as a girl at the time and actually cosplayed as gaara at the expo. btw, to all you people who like anime, says its pathetic.

i also played at a concert yesterday - percussion and flute. It went really well.

so.... where do i start?

I went to expo this saturday and sunday. it was awesome - on saturday me, and william cosplayed as characters from naruto. we got many free hugs and i took loads of photos and bought loads of stuff and the death note movies which i cant stop watching cause theyre SO AWESOME!!! and i bought some new cards and dueled people and won which made me feel great cause i usually lose and i bought sasuke and kakashi plushies and a sasuke wallet and a lifetime supply of pocky and the fruits basket ultimate fanbook and some posters to go on the wall in my new room.

there were loads of cosplayers from all sorts of anime and there was even a kid dressed as a giant pocky box!!! i played dynasty warrior 6 on XBox 360 and beat everyone else and made a fool of myself on ddr and singstar. and then the others had to leave and i felt sad but...

i found my friend crystal and her friends who didnt tell me they were going!! and they had a stereo with caramelldansen on so we went outside and started a caramelldansen line outside ExCeL - loads of people took videos and i'll post the link to one here. - [link] - just to say i don't know the people who made this just that caramelldansen was awesome.

then i went back in and saw masquerade and robot wars live and went on some games and then at 6.00 they told me to leave *sob* cause me and my mates were pretty much the only ones left there.

it was really cool. i cant wait for the next one!!!
